Hi,
I saw that there was an update for the Enfold theme through the Update theme option in Enfold, It told me that it updated successfully however, it gave me these errors right after saying it was successful. Now my site says “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”
Here are the errors:
Warning: require_once(class-envato-protected-api.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wolfgram/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-5/framework/php/auto-updates/class-pixelentity-theme-update.php on line 32
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘class-envato-protected-api.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/wolfgram/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-5/framework/php/auto-updates/class-pixelentity-theme-update.php on line 32
Could you please tell me how this can be fixed?
Thanks,
December 19, 2013 at 8:48 am #201932Hi Webtechyartist!
It looks like you may have been installing multiple versions of enfold for each update (enfold-5) . I’m not sure what conflict this might have caused to bring about the error but it should be fixable by re-installing the most recent update over FTP and replacing that theme folder.
Just make sure to re-name the theme folder to enfold-5 if that is the current “live” version you are using so that all the theme options are kept in place.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: htps://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Cheers!
DevinDecember 19, 2013 at 8:00 pm #202210I’ll give that a try.
But it looks like WordPress recovered on it’s own from the install. The theme says its 2.4.4 in the details. So it appears things are functioning again even without me doing anything.
Only have one version but I just rename the folder on upload and verify the theme is functioning before removing the old version if I do things manually. Keeps me from making mistakes.Thank you for your fast help! I appreciate it a lot!
December 19, 2013 at 9:03 pm #202248I posted about this also yesterday.
Can t be a coincidence that several of us have had fatal errors while doing the dashboard update
Maybe you should disable the intheme update until you figure out why some of us are getting fatal errorsDecember 19, 2013 at 10:37 pm #202282Glad it worked itself out :)
With the number of active users its hard to track true issues versus coincidence but we’ll keep trying things out in the mean time to see if we can find a bug.
