    Hi all,

    I will update my offline (test) installation from my website on InstantWP from version 2.5.2 to version 2.6.4. But if I update then my site is broking (the site tells that it is in maintenance) with the following mention:

    Warning: require_once(class-envato-protected-api.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\besparenmetvergelijken.nl nieuwe website – kopie\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\besparenmetvergelijkennl\framework\php\auto-updates\class-pixelentity-theme-update.php on line 32

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘class-envato-protected-api.php’ (include_path=’.;D:\besparenmetvergelijken.nl nieuwe website – kopie\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\server\php\PEAR’) in D:\besparenmetvergelijken.nl nieuwe website – kopie\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\besparenmetvergelijkennl\framework\php\auto-updates\class-pixelentity-theme-update.php on line 32

    Now because my offline test site is always broken (this was also with the previous updates), I am afraid to update my official website to the latest updates. Can anyone tell my what the problem is?

    I think that I see what the problem is. I renamed the Enfold folder to my own name. But thats impossible to rename it?

    Because i renamed it back to my own name and now I have multiple errors when I display the website.

    What can I do?

    Thank you.

    For detail.

    Al those errors are meaning on the child theme that i have named enfold-child All those errors are in the header.php on line 101, 157, 157 and 164.

    Hi!

    My guess is that its a failure on the server configuration side to properly be able to connect to Envato’s update api/server. If you do not fill in the themeforest name and API information and update the theme files as if it were FTP (write over the whole theme folder with the update) then there should be no issue.

    Typically, unless your local server is identical to your live server its a gamble that the two environments will respond to changes in the same way.

    Best regards,
    Devin
