I have Enfold version 3.3.2 running on my website, along with the latest version of WordPress (4.3.1). Although my version of the Enfold theme is up to date, the LayerSlider WP plugin is not. My theme displays LayerSlider WP version 5.5.0, the latest version is 5.6.2. I am unable to update through the LayerSlider WP plugin page using my theme purchase code. CodeCanyon support told me that the plugin must be updated within the theme it’s self. How can I resolve this issue?

Hey Ann,

The Layer Slider is bundled with the theme so you don’t need to update it on its own, only the theme. The version of the slider might not always be the latest one since when the version used for the release of the theme might be a different one that the actual latest one.

So I need to buy the plug-in, an update is not included in the theme I already bought? Is that right?
