    Hallo Kriesi-Team,

    da irgendwie die Updates unserer älteren Homepage bei Version 1.6.2 gestoppt haben, haben wir heute eine neue Lizenz gekauft, um das alte Theme auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Da auf unserer Seite auch Woocommerce läuft, benötige ich Hilfe, wie ich am schnellsten und ohne Datenverlust auf die neueste Version updaten kann. Vielen Dank schon einmal für eure Hilfe!

    of course I can ;)
    Our Page is running Enfold 1.6.2. and we’d like to update the very old version to the newest one (4.4?). We yesterday bought a new license at envato. Our problem now is that we cannot update enfold manually within wordpress und there is now automatic update available. So could you please tell us a possible way to update the old version without loosing data or function of the whole site including woocommerce shop. Thanks in advance.

    Which version of php are you running?

    Why can you not update manually via FTP?

    Hi Victoria,
    the running php is 5.6.37

    Can I overwrite the existing data via ftp without damaging anything? It is possible for me to upload the new files via FTP

    Hi Tobias,

    Yes, of course, you can remove the old folder (or rename to something like old_enfold) and create a new one called enfold and put the files there. This should be fine.
