    I have a site with Enfold 3.4.3 (with child theme) and the latest Wp version and classic editor enabled.
    Now I want to update the theme. With FTP I upload the latest theme file. Now I get a white screen. Because this is a “live” website, I recovered the old theme files and the site works, but I cannot edit any pages.

    The following debug error message:
    Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /home/public/sites/www.globalsellout.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/wp/widgets.php on line 4

    Notice: add_object_page is verouderd sinds versie 4.5.0. Gebruik in plaats daarvan add_menu_page(). in /home/public/sites/www.globalsellout.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4329

    I checked file and folder permissions, PHP version is 7.3 and i have an Enfold API token.
    Any ideas?

    Hey Freek,

    Did you try to remove the old theme folder? You can also upload the new version in a temporary folder, then rename it to Enfold.

    Hey,
    I removed enfold and enfold-child folders and uploaded the new ones. Now it works again.
    Case closed!
