I am unable to update any of the pages on my website or upload any images.
When i deactivate all plug ins it is fine, but when i reactive them the problem comes back.
I have tried reactivating them one by one to see which one is causing it, but when i do they all work.
Help – it is driving me mad having to deactivate all plug ins every time i want to upload an image!March 19, 2015 at 9:24 pm #414849Hey makeitbritish!
Your getting some 500 internal server errors it looks like. I deactivated all of your plugins and they went away.
Deactivate all of your plugins and then reactivate them one by one to see which one is causing the problem.
Cheers!
ElliottMarch 19, 2015 at 11:21 pm #414887It is a conflict with Gravity Forms plug in.
I see form a previous post that this is awaiting a bug fix – any idea on the timescale for this?
thanksMarch 20, 2015 at 1:29 am #414943Hey!
Can you please try updating the theme to the latest version 3.1.1 and check if that helps – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!
YigitMarch 25, 2015 at 4:13 pm #417843Hi Yigit
I have updated the theme to the latest version and still there is a conflict with Gravity Forms
Unless I deactivate the plug in I cannot amend any of the pages – I just get the spinning round timer thing.
Please help!! It’s driving me crazy !March 26, 2015 at 5:58 pm #418683Hi!
There should not be any problems with the latest version. Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest. This will ensure all of the files are updated and not corrupted.
Cheers!
ElliottMarch 30, 2015 at 1:47 pm #420392HI Elliot
If i do this will I have to do all the theme styling options that I have set again?
And do I have to get my developer to upload the theme via FTP again or can i do it from my WordPress dashboard?I have recently updated Gravity forms and I now cannot create or edit a form. It is saying that there is an Ajax conflict. Would that e the theme that is causing that?
Many thanks
KateMarch 30, 2015 at 11:55 pm #420888Further to my previous post, I tried switching the theme on the site and the Gravity Forms works so it is definitely an Enfold conflict.
When i tried uploading a new zip file of the theme it said that the style css sheet was missing.
I am really worried that if i delete the theme and try and reinstall it I will have problems and will be left with a site that is live that looks awful while i try and fix it.
Do you have any other solution to this problem apart form completely removing and installing the theme again, as this is not an ideal option on a live website?
ThanksApril 1, 2015 at 3:58 am #421706Hi!
The theme options are saved in the database so they won’t be affected when you delete or update the theme. If you have any custom css in the Quick CSS field or custom.css, create a backup just in case. Please refer to this link on how to properly update the theme, either via dashboard or FTP: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
