I’m running WP 4.3.1 and I just updated my enfold theme to 3.3.2. Now in Firefox, my Theme Options has lost all it’s styling and the left column with all the Theme Options links. It looks like everything within theme options is on one long page without any formatting.

– I’ve tried viewing in Chrome… no change.Please advise.

September 15, 2015 at 9:25 pm #503706Hi splashmediagroup!
Seems that something went wrong with the update.
Do you have a backup option?Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 15, 2015 at 9:28 pm #503713I made a complete backup of the files and database before updating (dbase Backup with phpmyadmin)
Do I need to just update the theme? Or do I need to restore everything including dbase?

September 16, 2015 at 2:09 am #503788I restored my site from my backup and the issue with the Theme Options is still there.
I’m back to my previous version of WordPress (4.2.5) and the enfold theme (3.1.5)
When I log into the dashboard and click the “Theme Options” link in the left column, I wait for about 20 seconds and then the messed up page displays.
Any ideas?
September 16, 2015 at 12:51 pm #504003Hey!
screenshot from your first post does not work for me. Sounds as there are some corrupted theme files and in this case you need to delete all theme files via FTP before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account.
Hope this will help!Cheers!
AndySeptember 16, 2015 at 8:57 pm #504379Hi Andy.
I did what you said and my Theme Options in the Dashboard are still messed up. The site itself operates fine. Please note that I am using a child theme.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
– updated main enfold theme (not my child) to 3.3.2 via FTP, no change
– updated to latest WP 4.3.1, no change
– updated and then deactivated all plugins and viewed Theme Options page, no change
– hard-refreshed the browser a number of times, no change
– tried removing all my custom styles within my child theme’s css, no change
– tried removing any custom functions, no change* What I find odd is that when I’m in the Dashboard and click to view the Theme Options (or should I say Child Theme Options), it takes about 26 – 30 seconds just for the Theme Options to load. On my other WordPress sites using enfold, it takes about 3 – 5 second to load the Theme Options.
Here’s the screenshot again. I removed it by mistake yesterday:

September 16, 2015 at 11:39 pm #504435Having a similar problem with the new update. Getting a FATAL ERROR despite downloading a fresh copy of the files. Any way to upload an older version?? It was working fine until I updated it to the newest version. Site has been down now for more than 24 hours would just like to get it back up and running as quickly as possible.

September 17, 2015 at 5:15 am #504491ISSUE SOLVED.
I found an older enfold support post from someone who had the same problem last year due to a redirect issue in their .htaccess file.
In my site’s .htaccess file I made some 301 redirects for SEO purposes. I reviewed my .htaccess file and noticed the following redirect:
Redirect 301 /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ http://www.saulteau.com/
That was messing everything up.
September 17, 2015 at 11:00 am #504625Great, glad you got it fixed and thanks for sharing your solution.
Best regards,
Rikard -
