    Hello,

    Our site uses an old version of the enfold theme (released in 2013) based on wordpress (v 3.8.1). The site is currently very slow.

    We have two questions in this topic:
    – Should the theme be updated to correct the problem of slowness?
    – How to update knowing that we lost our access to Themeforest?

    Should the theme be updated to correct the problem of slowness?
    Yes, most likely it should fix it since there are lots of optimizations released in newer updates.

    How to update knowing that we lost our access to Themeforest?
    Unfortunately, the theme update requires a token which is generated in themeforest, so we could not really do anything about it. I think the only thing you can do is to contact themeforest to help you restore access to your account.
