    Hi

    I have updated two to latest version of enfold, and the web shows this error, what can I do?
    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /usr/home/gecko.cat/web/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php on line 435

    I’m seeing the same thing. I commented out line 435 of that file for a temporary fix to my sites until the theme is updated.

    I changed line 435 of wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-form-generator.php from:
    if( ! empty( trim( $element['label'] ) ) )
    to
    //if( ! empty( trim( $element['label'] ) ) )

    I have put the backup of yesterday and everything works fine. I will wait to put the ENFOLD update. Let’s see what ENFOLD says about this update, because the same error happened in two webs I have with ENFOLD

    Hi,

    It was an issue related to older PHP versions. However Kriesi fixed the issue and released Enfold 4.0.7. Please update the theme via FTP and overwrite – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    I experienced the same error in class-form-generator.php on line 435 and commented it out. Website came back up and … voila Enfold update to 4.07 was there waiting for me :-)
    All is fixed now with the new version.
