hey! i recently performed the update on a site that was definitely a few behind and it crashed the site. i’m kind of thinking it was the avia merge bc i’m still seeing the content in pages editor but not in avia layout builder format. the website is currently just a blank white screen, help! login info, etc below. thanks!
I am lurking about with my own issues here but would suggest loading a twenty something (default WordPress themes) Then falling back to a current backup version of the enfold theme folder in wp-content/themes. Rename the current Enfold theme (on server) to EnfoldBack or whatever. Then upload the backup or current version 4.5.7 enfold to the themes folder via FTP or Cpanel. The site data should still be intact in the DB.

Did you try rolling back a version in the backend of WPengine? If not then please try to follow the suggestions listed in the page in private. Thanks @dschneekloth for helping out.

Rikardhi! @dschneekloth – yes i did try that and unfortunately it didn’t work.
i’ve restored the backup that we took before performing the update. the site shows, but when you log in just get a blank white screen again. any advice on how to go about making the updates?update: i was able to update to the latest enfold version via FTP and can log into the wordpress dash. however, when i activate the child theme, the website is getting a blank white screen, no error still.
so basically, if the child theme is activate without the enfold update i can see the site but not the dash.
if i activate the child theme with the latest enfold version, i can see the dashboard but not the website.please help!
