    Hi,

    Currently I am using a Enfold Child Theme with the Enfold Parent Theme version 3.8
    I wanted to update to Enfold 4.0 and updated my theme to Enfold 4.0 but after the update I see that my language links on the header changes to language flag images.

    Also, in one of my layer slides the placement of the elements inside the layer slider changes after the update.

    When I revert back to V 3.8 manually (via uploading in FTP) the unwanted changes goes back to normal.
    I have back up of everything including my db.

    What should I do to keep my design unchanged after updating to Enfold V.4.0.
    Do I have to update anything in my child theme folder before updating the parent theme?
    Attached a screenshot showing the changes before and after.

    My Second Question is; I can not find the CAPTION TAB in FULL SCREEN SLIDER. I want to add buttons and text on the slider. Why I am not seeing Caption tab in Full Screen slider?

    Hey Enis,

    It will be hard for us to help you out unless we can see the actual problem live, would you be able to create and copy your site to a staging area and do the updates there so that we can have a look at them?

    Hello Rikard,

    I have created a staging site which took me too login. but finally I managed to mirror my exact website.
    I have uploaded the themes and made the theme update to Enfold 4.0
    Keep in mind that I am using a child theme.
    At the moment the website use v 4.0 as a parent theme and as you can see the language bar on the top left is showing flags instead of language names (please see http://www.enisyucel.com for correct version)

    Please also help me with my second question about not seeing the caption area when I use full screen slider.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, you still have an old version on the site though. Could you try to remove the version which is 3.8? Also, did you check your settings in WPML to see if they match the display you would like?

    Yes i checked wpml. Its nothing to do with wpml
    Also there is already the never version
    The site use latest version.

    Hi Rikard,

    Sorry to ask but are we gonna write single messages each day only ?
    I am loosing too much time on it and I really want to solve this problem asap.

    Hi,

    I’m sorry for the late response. That is actually the default language selector of the theme. If you want to hide the flags and display the text instead, please use the following css code. 

    .avia_wpml_language_switch li .language_flag img {
    display: none;
}

.avia_wpml_language_switch li .language_native {
    display: block;
}
