I am trying to use Avia to create a “sidebar” I have a problem in that the content of row 1 in column B is forcing down the content in row 2 in column A. I have attached a sketch of the problem. Is there a solution to move row 2 in column A up to meet row 1? Or is this just the way Avia works?
January 11, 2017 at 2:40 pm #732063Hey grahambayne,
1. Please enable Custom CSS class for ALB elements
Then for the 1/3 column give a class name “push-right”.
2. Add this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:
.push-right { float: right; }
Do not worry if it shows similar to your mockup in admin but it will work fine on the frontend :)

Thank you for your super swift reply. I have made the changes (I think) and I still see the problem. You can see it here

Have I missed something, or more likely made a mistake.
Thank you again

You are most welcome :)
We need to take a closer look Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
Best regards,

January 12, 2017 at 8:40 am #732539Hi,
I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?
The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.
Best regards,

January 12, 2017 at 10:27 am #732555Hi,
Thank you for the credentials, I checked your site and setup a private test portfolio page please check the link in private. The setup is straightforward no special css or codes used. We have made use of the grid section to achieve the layout you are after :)
Hope you will like this better!
Best regards,
VinayJanuary 12, 2017 at 2:45 pm #732662Hi Vinay,
Thank you that works well. Can you just tell me how to get the grid row to use the same width as the container for the other pages, I have looked at the forum and have found a few different threads for this with different answers, what would be best for me. It can be site wide I don’t expect to ever want the grid row wider that the regular container.
Thanks again for your help, I am so glad that I have moved from Rocket Themes / Joomla to Enfold / WordPress. Its a bit of a learning curve but with your help its been great.
Cheers
Graham
