Recently, footers at the bottom of all of my enfold web pages have this error:

Notice: Undefined variable: kriesi_at_backlink in /home/xlfgncjo06rv/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/footer.php on line 103

I have the most recent update for Enfold and WordPress

    Hey Jackie,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

It’s asking for your e-mail to provide a temporary password for the temp plugin I installed. Can you provide me with your e-mail please?
Or better method to create a temporary login?

    Thank you

    Jackie

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. You can use (Email address hidden if logged out) , or a personal email. Just remember to include the login details here in private, I can’t see any login details in this thread so please try sending them again.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
I sent the website link and login credentials in the private area yesterday. The e-mail link (Email address hidden if logged out) came back when I also emailed credentials there. Please let me know if you can

Here is what I had submitted on July 27th and it’s still an issue on the site. The Enfold Theme and WordPress are up to date, so I’m not sure what to do.

Recently, footers at the bottom of all of my enfold web pages have this error:
Notice: Undefined variable: kriesi_at_backlink in /home/xlfgncjo06rv/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/footer.php on line 103

Please let me know if you know how I can remove the ‘error’ line at the bottom of every web page.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. The login details are working, but I think the account doesn’t have the necessary rights since I can’t access the WordPress backend:

Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

Could you make sure that the account has administrator rights please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

I changed ‘moderator’ role to ‘administrator’ role. I didn’t recreate password, so hope you can still get in. If need me to generate new password, please let me know.

    Thank you so much!!

    Hi Jackie,

Thanks for that. I see that you are overriding footer.php in your child theme, what happens if you copy the footer.php from the parent theme into the child, then add your customisations back in after that?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

That worked. I should’ve thought of that, but thank you so much, again!!
