When I add a tab control to the editor and go to ‘Add/Edit Tabs”, almost immediately an error happens. The default “Tab 1” and “Tab 2” fields are replaced with “undefined”. I have noticed this before in some other elements as well. (Enfold Version 2.4.2, WP version 3.7.1, Browser: Firefox 25, Chromium 31)
Any ideas why this happens?

Can you please give us a link to the website? Do you have any plugins installed? Please deactivate them.
Cheers!
IsmaelDecember 9, 2013 at 6:44 pm #198145Hi Ismael, I’ve definitely deactivated plugins. This issue is happening on a testing site I’ve created on a subdomain http://test.persuadedbase.com , which only has Enfold installed with its “dummy content”. But I can also confirm that the issue happens on the main domain as well http://persuadedbase.com, which only has a basic install of the Enfold theme, also without any plugins installed. (both are new installs)
The issue happens in the tab control, and to replicate it, I add a tab control, then click on one of the tab names to edit, and immediately it’s name will change to “undefined”. Happens in both Chromium 31 (with no extensions) and Firefox 25 with add-ons disabled.
Should I PM you a logon?

I’m not sure why it is happening on your end but I created a test page: http://test.persuadedbase.com/?page_id=2317
The tabs seem to work flawlessly. I don’t get an “undefined” error when I change the title and the content. What OS are you testing this with?
Cheers!
IsmaelDecember 10, 2013 at 5:59 am #198429I just edited the tab control you made on the test page and it works fine. I wonder if the cause was that I was trying to add it to an already existing page, which was created using dummy content?
I am using Win 7 pro, actually a new install one week old.
December 11, 2013 at 10:16 am #198917Hey!
I’m not sure if the dummy data page is the cause of the issue because I tested the tab shortcode here: http://test.persuadedbase.com/?page_id=1195 and I couldn’t reproduce the “undefined” bug although the “About Us” page is also part of the dummy data.
Regards,
Peter -
