Hi guys!
Our client site was not loading and we got this error:
/wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js?ver=3 net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
shortcodes.js?ver=3:36 Uncaught TypeError: $.AviaTooltip is not a constructorWe followed the procedure described in this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/slider-and-google-maps-not-working-after-3-52-and-4-5-updates/ but we still got the issue..
Could you please have a look at it.
FYI, we disabled the preloading option from theme option and the site load but we still got the error and some features are not correctly load…
Thanks in advance!
JP
June 20, 2016 at 10:05 pm #651119Hey 3ejoueur,
I created a test page and checked the google maps element and it works fine, I do not notice any js errors in console either. The site looks good on my end. You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser.
Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
Best regards,
VinayJune 20, 2016 at 10:13 pm #651122Hi Vinay,
I think I confused you with the link I shared from a previous post… In fact, I don’t have a particular issue with the map… It was more to tell you that we did update the theme and WordPress to the last version.
We did clear our cache and load the site from a private session and we’ve got the issue. Please have a look at this video http://screencast.com/t/C4WzXr9p.
It’s supposed to have a video playing at the background of the first section + the slider on the page isn’t working… and you will see the error from the Chrome inspector.
Thanks in advance,
JP
June 20, 2016 at 11:28 pm #651134I am having this problem too on two sites using the Enfold theme, and with a slider video. The video isn’t showing… And the text above it disappears, as well as another testimonial text below it. It vanishes after page load.
June 20, 2016 at 11:31 pm #651135Actually, I was able to fix it by deactivating the “Rocket Loader” option on Cloudflare. But on the other website in question we still have the problem of items not showing.
June 21, 2016 at 11:26 am #651395Hi,
@skunkworkscanada glad the issue is sorted for the other issue please create a new ticket and provide the link to the site where we can see the issue to help.
@3ejoueur Thank you for sharing the video, I double assure you, the site works great! and has no errors. What you are seeing is a caching issue. If you are using any caching plugins first deactivate it and clear the browser cache. Please see attached screenshots.Best regards,
