Hi, lately my client have been struggling with forms/orders not being sent to them. The error message they receive is:

You must provide at least one recipient email address.
    Debug Output:
    Invalid address: (to): /span

There is a receiver on the form, so it does not make sense.

I have been in contact with their mailing provider and with the SMTP plugin we use. They said I need to talk to you about this. Hope you can help.

    Hey snitt,

Could you post a link to where we can see the form in question please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I changde the recepient to my own email, and the form sends fine and the email is received. Is there a sure way of reproducing this problem?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks for checking the issue. I can see that the form seems to be working again now. I want to say that it is only good news, but the problem is that we have experienced this before, told the client that all is good, and then the issue occurs again. Can we keep this support task open for a week to see if the problem present itself again?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. So do you have a sure way of reproducing this problem, or was the form sent without a recipient?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Duplication: Also, message is duplicated over 20 times when it failes to deliver. This is not ideal because its hard to go thru them all in backend and also indicated that it spam by recipient.

Message from SMTP provider: In the meantime, from your description, the theme may be still trying to send the emails, which is causing the duplication.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I tried to send the form to myself again with the same results as before – there are no error messages and the form is received only once. Please note that we haven’t had any other reports of this being a problem on other sites, so it’s likely that it’s local to your site. Does it work as expected if you remove your SMTP plugin? What happens if you change the recipients to other receivers?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks for checking. We will try to remove Spam plugin and see if that helps first. I will let you know.
