    Hello Kriesi,

I recently purchased the theme. During installation, it is giving error while installing the theme from WP dashboard. It says – “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.”
I downloaded the latest version. I unzipped original TF files and then tried to upload the Enfold.zip folder which is inside.
I tried many times. I even re-downloaded it from TF but the same problem appears.

I didn’t tried via FTP and cPanel. I don’t usually prefer this option as first priority.
Is there really any problem with fresh installation via WP dashboard.

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

    Thanks

    Hey Labhanshi!

It could be a timeout on the upload, the server not allowing for that large of an upload or something else entirely. Uploading over FTP is a good option and I did a video walkthrough to help here:

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Thanks for your prompt response.
My server has a capacity of uploading a file of 150 MB from cPanel. I don’t think so there should be any problem.

I tried from other location and from another hosting account for testing purposes, but there also same problem appears.
Even today again, it is continuously having the same.
I would appreciate if you could check at your end too with fresh installation of the latest version via WP dashboard.

In the meantime, i am trying uploading it via cPanel. Will that be OK, i will try via FTP as last option.

    Thanks

Uploading through ftp or through your hosts file manager will both work. As long as the unzipped folder is in your themes folder then WordPress will recognize the theme correctly.

Even if your host has a 150mb upload limit WordPress itself may have a lower limit. Often times one click installs will cap it at 2mb or 4mb depending on the host.

    Uploading via cPanel worked, thanks.
But for future, kindly let me know, which files do i need to change or edit from my cPanel in order increase the limit for installation of files from WordPress dashboard. Kindly let me know the line number and how to do, as i have complete control over my cPanel, which my hosting provider has provided.

If files don’t need to be changed from cPanel then kindly let me know, what i have to ask to my host so that they can increase the limit from their end. I will request them to do so then.

    thanks

    Hey!

Increasing upload max size, time limit, memory limit etc. can be done by editing the .htaccess or php.ini file but asking your host is far more convenient.

    Cheers!
