Hi Enfold Support,
Hope you’re all doing great. We have a page for an ad gallery that will sort portfolio grids in two ways. One will allow for sorting of one set of categories, the other another set categories. Ideally it seemed best to place these within a tabbed section to avoid a lot of scrolling as well as allow for pagination. But when we execute the portfolio grids within the tabs, only one tab appears with portfolio grid content. The second tab’s portfolio grid content magically disappears!Any idea why the second tab is empty?
We also noticed the same behavior if we placed the portfolio grids in colored sections, one on top of the other. The second portfolio grid would always magically disappear. :)
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Ok, thanks for the feedback. We’ll leave the thread open in case you should need any further help on the topic.

RikardOctober 19, 2017 at 9:13 pm #866458Ok, it was human error as the portfolio items weren’t categorized properly. Although on a related topic, we were wondering if there’s a way to create a multiple sort / filtering function with the portfolio items using top level categories.
This could eliminate the need to use tabs and give the user a much more streamlined user experience for filtering portfolio items. See private section for examples.
Lastly, is there a way to put the filtering/sort items in a drop down menu for mobile? With the number of filters, it creates a lot of links above the portfolio gallery. Thanks in advance for your help!

Lastly, is there a way to put the filtering/sort items in a drop down menu for mobile? This is definitely possible but it will require modification that is beyond the scope of support. When you find a developer, please ask him to modify the config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > portfolio.php file.

IsmaelOctober 23, 2017 at 3:03 am #867414Thanks Ismael! Would we put this in the child theme where our modified functions.php file is located?
October 23, 2017 at 5:23 pm #867731Hi Eric,
Yes, it is better to put in a child theme, but preserve the folder structure.
