I am unable to edit text in pages or products this is a recent change.
I am running theme Version: 4.8.3
PHP 7.4
I have removed all plugins and added them back with no change
I turned on debug mode and nothing shows in the log
I see this error in the PHP error log:
PHP Notice: ob_end_flush(): failed to send buffer of zlib output compression (0) …//wp-includes/functions.php on line 4757
Can you please take a look and see what is going on?

June 10, 2021 at 8:00 am #1305014Hi,
Thanks for the login details. I checked the page in private, and I can see the problem on my end as well. The text is not appearing in the edit box, but it does appear in the preview for some reason. Could you try installing this plugin, then clear all WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/. Pleas make sure that you have backups of the site before doing this.
If removing transients doesn’t help, then please give us permission to temporarily disable plugins, and enabling debug mode: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Best regards,
RikardJune 10, 2021 at 7:43 pm #1305121Thanks so much. I added and ran the plugin. No change.
I have a back up – no worries. Have at it!June 10, 2021 at 10:56 pm #1305132I have the same issue a couple days ago when I used Firefox, then I switched to Chrome, it worked fine.
June 12, 2021 at 5:12 am #1305355Hi,
Thanks for the update. I tried creating a new page, and the same thing is happening there as well unfortunately. I’m seeing error messages coming from a WordPress file, please see private. Would you be able to reinstall WordPress to see if that helps? An alternative would be to create another dev/staging site, and see what happens on that site.
Best regards,
RikardJune 12, 2021 at 6:16 pm #1305412Follow Up – I did a reinstall – I note that the error refers to a theme that does not exist?
June 14, 2021 at 8:26 am #1305548Hi,
Yes, that file seems to be coming from a theme which is not installed on your site, which is a bit strange. The problem you are having is not a general problem with the theme, so I’m not sure why this is happening unfortunately. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to check if they can see why you are getting error messages from a theme file which is not installed on your site please?
Best regards,
Rikard -
