I cannot change the font size of the body of my website. The normal way to change it is not working. The typestyle will change but the size will not.. I imported the demo, Enfold Knowledgebase. I searched the world over for a setting in a hidden location and cannot find a thing. The normal setting does not work. I changed it to 20 and the type size does not change at all. Something somewhere is stopping it. I disabled all of the plugins and checked every setting. I just cant figure it out.
I am a layperson so I cannot look at files. Can you please help? its set to 13 which is barely readable and I need to set it to 18 or 19.
I don’t know how to create new login credentials if you need them without sending an email.
Also, I just now noticed in the special heading box it will not let me set the subheading size of the type either.

best would be to see the site link – if you can not make the link public – you had to wait til mods are here to help you – just set the link to private content field here on the topic.
I sent the link private. I am also noticing that the developer sections are filled out. Again, I am a layperson and do not know how to use this part.
Apply a custom ID Attribute to the section, so you can apply a unique style via CSS. This option is also helpful if you want to use anchor links to scroll to a sections when a link is clicked – there are things filled in under this section on front page.
Not that that should interfere with the type not changing but maybe you can advise If I should remove this from front page since I am making changes to the sections in the area while you are here.

Rikardwith body font-size you like to influence the normal content font size:
you got in your child-theme css this:#top .all_colors p { font-size: 14px; }body#top is not as specific as #top .all_colors p
– so try to change this value – or get rid of that rule that enfold options settings can take effect
by the way: you set on some elements inline-style font-sizes ( see f.e. investigators text set to 25px ) this has to be adjusted too – or deleted as inline style
I had made it very clear that i do not know how to create log in credentials for you and now It will take me quite some time and to figure that out, and then another day for you to get back to me.

Guenni07, it seems if there is a childs theme on this import of the demo I do not have the slightest clue how to use that. Asked in the private section just sent if I should start over so I do nothave that. I have always build in regular template. Thanks for your input. I have no clue how to find the them let alone change it.

Do you have an email or something else to send it to? My website is on hold which is a huge inconvenience for all of us here. if you could advise in the meantime if your form is still not going through but pelase try to fix this problem.
This theme I imported from Enfold Imports, Guenn07 said it is a child’s theme. I do not know how to use a child theme.

Do i need to start over? I have about eight hours into building this website. Because getting help is taking so many days I am tempted to just delete and start from scratch. This is really holding me up.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for the login, I followed @Guenni007 suggestion and added this css into your Enfold Theme Options > General Styling > Quick CSS field and now your font size on your home page is 19px

I do not know how to use a child’s theme. I do not know what a child’s theme is. I do not do code. Again, I imported the Enfold Demo import Knowledge based. not knowing it was a childs theme.
Other things are also not changing not just this type.

To be more clear, the typestyles are not changing size in any text box either.. When I change the H6 to a different typestyle as a workaround, it changes in the website but the screen I type in it still appears about 10pt so I cannot see it well. Again if this is all due to setting s inside of a childs theme that I cannot get in to fix I do not want it.
Please help me. The delay of not having a website is causing business delays.
I need to remove the child’s theme. I do not want all the settings they put in it and do not know how to fix it.

I only see the Enfold theme. Does this mean Guio007 was wrong in telling me I have a child’s theme?
Did you verify that I do as I asked in the tread?
If I do not have a child’s theme from he import theme demo, and this does not explain the problems we are back to the issue of My typestyles will not change sizes in the type box. Also the preview does not change at all when I change the settings.
And now, I put bullets on a list and changed my mind it will not turn off. I can change it to a number list and back and forth but it will no longer undo my bullets back to the regular type.
Something is very wrong with this. I thought this was due to custom CSS in the childs them on the import Demo I installed. It is your import demo that I imported so you should know what it has in it
Can a supervisor please help me. This has been a lot of lost time.
Why would my settings in the customize theme not work? And why would I have to have Quick CSS to make my customization??? I should be able to do it right in the customize theme. And I Cant!! I need to change my typestyle sized in individual boxes. The spacing changes but the type size does not.

Sorry for the frustration, I have taken another look at your site and see that you do not have a child theme.
One reason your font customization in the advanced styling is not changing the font size is because I added this css to make your font size 19px as you had asked:#top .all_colors p,#top .all_colors .toggle_content li { font-size: 19px !important; }The advanced styling panel doesn’t offer the option to adjust the font size of the bullet list. When I adjusted the bullet list with the css was 19px wrong? Sorry, I don’t understand why you didn’t like it.
Anyways the other issue you are running into is your caching plugin, while you are creating your site please disable any caching and minifying, because this delays your ability to see your changes right away, and it can cause frustration as you may believe that changes are not taking effect.
Please also clear your browser cache as you make changes.Best regards,

I said I cannot turn off the bullet list once I turn it on. I do not want to, did not want to change the size and never said I do not like it. Somehow today that has resolved itself. I turned off the A2 hosting plugin which may have done it. It would not go away once turned on, now it does change back.
What you said about my changes not showing up because of caching makes total sense. I changed to 19pt and it did not show up on the preview either.. It seems when you added in 19px to the custom CSS I could not change any type anywhere including block quotes, and other stuff, individual boxes ect.. that I was trying to change. This was the problem all along adding this in instead of fixing the root cause. it caused more problems. The root cause appears to be the caching issue. But now we know that thank you!!!
the Last thing… please. Part of the problem was with the caching BUT ALSO STILL ONGOING – The ELEMENT PREVIEW -(when typing in the advanced layout builder to the right) DOES NOT SHOW MY CHANGES TO THE ADVANCES STYLING. This complicated the problem when I could not see the changes in the preview while typing.. It still shows me the 13 point type and the original colors and does not show what the current settings are changed to. So looking something that does not match what it really is on the website is another step to preview and I have harder time reading 13 point.
Again, If you can help me resolve this element preview issue I would be grateful and then on my way. TY

Glad to hear clearing your cache or disabling caching plugins helped.
I see that you are using JetPack, please note that this plugin also causes strange issues sometimes. I also see that your PHP version is 5.6.40 which is on the edge of causing issues too. What I mean is that this used to be safe to use, but since WordPress v5.2.2 WordPress recommends v7.x and I’m starting to see issues resolving when they update their PHP. Please keep this in mind and consider updating in the near future.Ok, so now about the element preview, the element preview is meant to be an approximation of the element, it is not exact, one factor that you may be experiencing is that your content is adjusted to show in the small preview area. I have a large screen today, which looks different than when I use my small laptop screen. I hope this makes sense.
I looked at some of your different elements to find one that was previewing 13px, but I didn’t find it, which element do you mean?Best regards,
