Hi. We’re creating a bilingual site (English-Japanese), and we’re currently using a sidebar main menu configuration, which we prefer. What we’d like to is to present the main navigation menu in English for English pages and in Japanese for Japanese pages. I assumed that we could simply create two different menus (one in English and the other in Japanese) and then connect each page of the site to one of those menus (somehow).
What is the best way to do this?
Hey aaronpc,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Are you using a multilingual or translation plugin such as WPML or Polylang? These plugins have a sync menu option, which allows you to display different set of menu for each language or translate the original menu.
