Hi,
I can’t seem to display a feed of recent tweets on my home page.
I have created a widget area and entered the code from twitter to embed a widget
<a class="twitter-timeline" data-link-color="#e25c33" href="https://twitter.com/PrimeEnv?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">Tweets by PrimeEnv</a> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
but it only displays a link to my tweets.
It could be an error on twitters side – whenever I go back to widgets (in twitter – settings – widgets) it says that I don’t have any

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Best regards,
RikardMarch 20, 2018 at 9:57 am #929632That would help!
March 21, 2018 at 5:57 am #930315Hi,
Thanks for that, though the login details are not working. Could you check and verify please?
About your problem; where did you get the code that you are using from? Are you sure that the code is supposed to display actual tweets?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 21, 2018 at 1:15 pm #930555yes, this works as expected on mobile and not on desktop. The code was produced through Twitter’s website (which allows you to click options, then it provides the snippet to insert). I also tried other methods and had the same result – Twitters own and a 3rd party addon.
I’ve generated a new password (see below)

Thanks for the feedback and login details. Does the code work if you activate one of the default WordPress themes?
Best regards,

March 13, 2022 at 11:48 pm #1344318Hi,
Thank you for your patience, your tweets are displayed for me when I disable my ad-blocker, I can post a screenshot if you wish.
Try disabling any browser ad-blocker, cookie-blocker, or “don’t track me” options, if you are using Safari then this is built-in and on by default, Safari also blocks FB by default now.Best regards,
MikeMarch 14, 2022 at 5:04 pm #1344446Thanks for the reply, its strange as Ive just gone to the site myself in Firefox (browser I was using) and they’re displaying now, maybe it was a Twitter issue.
Thanks for the reply.
