I’ve created a new Shop Base Page using the Layout Editor but when I click on the new link it shows the new layout at the top of the page and below it the default WooCommerce Shop layout including the Category image, dropdown Sort menu, Header & Sidebar (even though I chose not to show those).

What do I need to do in order to keep the WooCommerce layout from showing?

    Hi American Patriot,

The WooCommerce pages ignore the theme layout options and uses their own layouts. The only way to modify the preconfigured files would be to either use hooks and filters or template files.

    See: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/

Well that sucks. The only hooks I’m familiar with are the ones you use to catch fish with…lol.

    Thanks Devin!

    Have a great weekend.

    Hi,

You can get rid of the sidebar on the product pages by going to Appearance > Widgets and removing everything from the sidebar called ‘Everywhere’ since it automatically adds a sidebar… Everywhere.

    OR

Another way to do it would be to Change the default theme setting in Enfold > (Theme Options) > Sidebars to look like this http://featherfiles.aviary.com/2013-08-14/null/930e73edc5d848088bcf4f207d7cd80a.png and then simply add back the sidebars to the Blog Posts manually yourself.

    Thanks,

    Nick
