Hello,
When I change the permalinks to post name suddenly my portfolio pages 2,3,etc. don’t work, they do work with the numeric setting for example. What should I do? This is my website http://www.cnovaplus.com.mx/productos/ you can try clicking below on page 2 to see what I mean.
Thanks

Make sure you don’t have any draft/erased portfolio items that may be conflicting with the permalinks, also try deactivating all the third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed.
Cheers!

I don’t have any draft/erased portfolio items, just confirmed again. I also tried deactivating all my plugins and it did not get fixed. What else could be wrong?
Thanks,
Gabriel

Can you create an administrator account and post it here as a private reply?

Fixed – you must not use the same slug for the post type and portfolio page. I changed “productos” to “producto” ( http://www.cnovaplus.com.mx/wp-admin/options-permalink.php?settings-updated=true ) and it works now. You can use any other slug but make sure that it’s not used for a page (i.e. like here: http://www.cnovaplus.com.mx/productos/ ).
Best regards,
PeterJanuary 21, 2014 at 6:46 pm #212884Thanks Dude, I have an issue that I need help as well. Whenever a person clicks on distribuidores they are taken to http://www.cnovaplus.com.mx/autorizacion/ so they can input their login name and password which is correct. But what I want to do is that once they access they are redirected to distribuidores, how can I do this?
Thanks

You can use a plugin – I recommend to search the repository here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=login+redirect
Cheers!
