I am having a bit of trouble loading the Enfold theme. The message I get is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/content/07/4990307/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/asset-manager.class.php on line 15
Once this happens, I can not refresh and go back without getting that message above. In order to get back, I have to go to the hosting provider and completely uninstall WordPress. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS
Also, all plugins are disabled and this was a clean installation.
Final note: I have built the site already HERE and would like to migrate it using – All In One WP MigrationMarch 5, 2018 at 9:00 pm #921780Hey sp1k3,
Thank you for reporting that issues.
Yes there is a problem and our development team will do work on that as backewards compatibility but the issue is happening because you
have an old php version on the server. If you update that will not happen.,
Best regards,
BasilisMarch 6, 2018 at 3:42 pm #922368Thank you Basillis, but after suggesting to update the php, it still happens. I also see that there are more that are having trouble with the same issues I am having. I will wait for an update (4.2.6) hopefully this will fix.
March 6, 2018 at 4:19 pm #922390Hey,
Please replace the content of wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/asset-manager.class.php file with this one – https://pastebin.com/JpStScD0
If that too does not help, please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it.
Cheers!
YigitMarch 7, 2018 at 6:09 pm #923169Thanks Yigit, that isn’t my strong point. I will post a WP admin privately.

YigitMarch 12, 2018 at 3:09 pm #925542THANKS SO MUCH :) can you show me how that was done, please? I have several sites that may need the same fix. This way I can do them on my own. Thanks again.
March 12, 2018 at 3:12 pm #925544Hi,
Issue occurs on servers running PHP versions older than 5.6. You can either upgrade your PHP version to minimum 5.6 and preferably to 7.x or replace /wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/r389b5x4ippscyn/header.php?dl=0 to bring up backwards compatibility with older PHP versions.
You are welcome! :)
For your information, you can take a look at Enfold documentation here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
And if there are features that you wish Enfold had, you can request them and vote the requested ones here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
For any other questions or issues, feel free to start new threads under Enfold sub forum and we will gladly try to help you :)Best regards,
