    Hello –

    I’m using Enfold Child theme to build my website. Everything is fine except I can not assign the home page in theme options or WP – I get an error that says there are too many redirects. I’ve tried to assign a home page with Enfold parent, and other themes without any issues. I can’t figure out what is wrong. I can also assign another page, like blog, as the home without an issue. I have never had this problem and I use Enfold for all websites that I design.

    Has this ever happened before? Any advice would be helpful because I’m at a total loss.

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Did you add anything in the htaccess file? Please provide the FTP details in the private field so that we could check the theme files.

    Hi –
    I did not add anything to the .htaccess file and just double checked. See FTP login below.

    This is a staging website on my server. Let me know if you have issues with access. I have a feeling this may be a server issue after doing a bit of research into this.

    Thanks for the update.

    I think you forgot the FTP password. Please check the details carefully. Have you tried to deactivate the plugins?
