Trimmed bullets (or numbered list) in the short description

Found an old post on this subject but the solution does not work.

Bullets in the product description part of WooCommerce are fine, however bullets (or numbered list) in the short description are getting trimmed down the left hand side of each line – this must be a margin issue.

Any way of getting them to show fully in the short description?
