hey there,
we are using the ajax portfolio view instead of redirecting to a single page for each portfolio entry. Now we would also like to have the possibility to link directly to one of the portfolio items, again using the ajax view on the main page rather than linking to the individual page.
Is there any way to trigger the ajax or js call (i am not that technical) through the url?
i thought of something similar to the section id’s used for navigation (#home, #about).
any help is greatly appreciated,
thanks,
oscar
Hey Mac_Gyver,
You can add the links in the portfolio text. Why do you need the ajax call?
Can you please show us the mockup of what you’re trying to achieve.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hey Victoria,
thanks for the response. please have a look at the link in the private content section.
when clicking one of the items, instead of being redirected to its own page, the ajax preview is used (therefore you stay on the same page, can navigate through other entries by using the arrows, and close the preview).
Now for social media we want be able to use a link that will open the page + the ajax preview for the via Url specified entry – hope that makes sens :)
right now, when using the permalink for a portfolio entry, it will be opened in its own page.
Regards,
Oscar
Hi Oscar,
Oh, you mean you want the external link to open the specified teacher when clicked?
This option is not available at the moment, unfortunately.
Best regards,
Victoria
