I have the latest version of Enfold and the latest version of Tri.be’s Events Calendar plugin installed, and have all kinds of problems. Sounds like you guys are aware of this as I found a few threads on the topic.
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-3-0-and-tribe-events-calendar-3-8/ says to remove the following from functions.php:
require_once( 'config-events-calendar/config.php' );
I would think this is not upgrade safe and worries me that we’ll run into problems next time you release a new version. Is there a way to remove that line of code via the functions.php file in the child theme? I really, really need this plugin to work with your theme.
The main thing that’s missing that I need is the ability to choose a page template. Really frustrating that you took away this part of the Events Calendar plugin – I would think the Tri.be developers would not be happy with this.
Hey!
What problems specifically are you having? Go ahead and send us a link and take a screenshot highlighting what is going on so we can get a better idea.
If you remove the line your referring to in your first post then that’s going to remove all of Enfold’s compatibility settings with the plugin.
Best regards,
Elliott
