I chose to use the transparent headers. I set them up throughout the site. I then told the site not to have sidebars (except on the blog) and immediately all my transparent headers disappeared. As soon as I put the sidebars back, my transparent headers came back…. I have just started developing the site (no content) and I am on a temporary IP address so this is quite frustrating as my client is wanting to “see” something and I am stuck at square one.
Suggestions?
The site is at http://conniele.wwwss17.a2hosted.com/services/
I realize that there is absolutely no formatting yet… but I am stuck with two search fields and a sidebar I don’t want (or need). Help!

I clicked around your pages and they all have sidebars and they all have transparent headers also so I’m not sure I understand the problem.
When you use a transparent header it will eliminate the top padding for your main content so it displays beneath the header. This is because most people use transparent headers with color sections (or sliders) and set a background image to the color section as seen on this page of our demo, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/transparent-header/.
Can you take a screenshot and highlight what your trying to do so we can get a better idea?

ElliottApril 14, 2015 at 6:34 pm #428391When I remove the sidebar the transparent headers go away. Go to the site now. I have “eliminated” the sidebar and note that I no longer have a transparent header. If you check the code you will see that the only thing I changed was the sidebar. I still have the transparent header selected.
I thought I should be able to have both the option of no sidebar and a transparent header. I am sorry if my comment above was confusing in some way or if this is not possible. I am running on little sleep and client that wants their site by April 21st. I’m trying to get 3 sites done by next week and I don’t think I can achieve this goal.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think the problem here only occurs on pages where there is no scrollbar, on pages where there is scroll, the behaviour is correct. I never check this myself but I think this is the correct behaviour. Once you start adding content to the site it will look like it should.
Best regards,
