What has happened with the translation files? Feels like a work in progress thing, but it has messed up my clinets site a bit and I am not too happy about it.
I am using po-edit to translate the front the end in to Swedish. With the latest update of Enfold, I noticed some strings had been changed and was not translated anymore.
So I updated the .po-file from the .pot-file that came with the new update – only to discover that other strings where missing completely in that file.
So now I have two different po-files with different content and depending on which one I use, different strings are translated. Slightly frustrating and this is rather urgent for me to fix. I could of course compare the two .po files and merge them, but since I suspect you are working on this right now I wonder if you have any idea on when you will push an update.
Second issue: I would greatly appreciate if the placement of the language files could be moved to wp-content > languages > themes (instead of the now present hack of the child-function.php file to put the .mo-file in /lang in the child theme directory. I tend to forget that Enfold has is own special place for its language files.
Also changing the naming to enfold-xx_XX.po (instead of xx_XX.po) would be much appreciated.
Thanks for a great theme!

If you need the newest files then just get a fresh copy from your themeforest account and update your .po files.

please read my post before answering.
/BjornNovember 24, 2015 at 2:58 pm #541669Hi!
I don’t think Kriesi is working on any translation files right now. Not sure what you mean and about what kind of issue you are talking about. Can you explain clearer ( and in less words please) what it’s about? You could use screenshots to make things clear for us (imgur.com or dropbox).
Best regards,
AndyNovember 26, 2015 at 2:12 pm #543117Hi Andy
I did some figuring and I found the cause. The problem is that in the files comments.php and comments-popup.php are part translated in part by Enfolds language files (green rektangle) and in part by wordpress default (red rectangles) See enclosed screenshot.
That confused me. It also confused that both WordPress and Enfold use the same name on their language-files (xx_XX.se)https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/198498/fysisk_aktivitet_pa_recept_-_kan_vara_dans_dininsida.png
I did follow you suggestion and filed a feature request on renaming enfold language files.
Best regards
