    Hi there,
    I temporarily build the site in a sub-folder of my domain and would like to transfer to the rootfolder now that all is done and I like to go live. Looking through this forum I noticed that people run into problem doing that, so I would like to ask upfront – is there anything I need to change in the theme settings to prepare for this move. I would really appreciate your advise and what I should do or avoid to not “break” the site. Cheers Maic

    Hi baethes,

    I think the easiest way would be use a plugin, I’ve used this with good results in the past: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
