I’m very happy with the way Enfold and Translatepress work together for the most part. However, there seems to be an issue with translating the logo image between English and French in the transparent header.
English: lambdafoundation.org
French: lambdafoundation.org/fr/The translation procedure appears to work but is not reflected in the translated site. Translatepress seems to be confused by the swap between the white transparent logo and the RGB version of the logo that appears when the site visitor scrolls down the page.
Can anyone suggest a fix (or if I’m doing something wrong)?
December 1, 2025 at 6:27 am #1491966Hey coredesignsupport,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Would you mind providing a screenshot of the issue? The logo image cannot be translated by default, but you can use the avf_logo filter to assign a different logo image based on different conditions, like different language.
Example:
function avf_logo_mod($logo){ $currentlang = get_bloginfo('language'); if($currentlang == "fr_FR"){ $logo = 123; // <-- replace with the FR logo image } return $logo; } add_filter('avf_logo','avf_logo_mod');Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 1, 2025 at 2:04 pm #1491982Thank you for your quick response. Will this deal with the logo image change from a transparent header (with all-white logo) to an opaque header (two-tone logo)?
December 1, 2025 at 11:52 pm #1492004i do not know if translatepress has a similar opportunity to set different logo for different languages like WPML.
for replacing the alternate_logo ( for transparencies) – you can try:
(in additon to ismaels replacement of the standard logo)function av_change_alternative_logo_img($header){ $currentlang = get_bloginfo('language'); if($currentlang == "fr_FR"){ $header['header_class'] .= ' av_alternate_logo_active'; $header['header_replacement_logo_id'] = 44238; } return $header; } add_filter('avf_header_setting_filter','av_change_alternative_logo_img');December 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm #1492005I’m using Translatepress. It is starting to look like the plugin is having a problem with HTML formatting for bold or italics. When selecting a paragraph that has bolded words amongst regular text, it copies the tags to the English content box, but manually adding those tags to the French translation appears to cause a problem.
December 2, 2025 at 7:45 am #1492023Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We may need to inspect the page to properly understand the issue. Please create a test page and provide the URL in the private field. We also recommend reaching out to the plugin developers for additional assistance.
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 2, 2025 at 5:29 pm #1492039I’ve determined that the issue is with how I’m using Translatepress and not with Enfold. You may close this thread.
Thank you for your attention.
