    Hi,

I’d like to track an event in Google Analytics – more specifically, I’d like to track when someone submits a contact form. The only problem is, this normally works on a URL, but because the contact form is built into the theme, there’s is no “thank you” or “message sent” URL extension added to the end of the URL. I’m not clued up on these sort of things, so how would I track when a contact form has been submitted if the URL does not change?

    Thanks

Apparently, the URL doesn’t normally show – clueless, like I said – but where can I access that extension?

    Hi 500Webmaster,

I’m not really sure as I don’t typically use that functionality with analytics. I’ll tag the rest of the support crew to see if anyone is familiar with it.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi!

Tbh I’m also not familiar with Google analytics and I’m not sure what’s the best way to track events. However this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-event-tracking-to-choices-contact-form/ may help you.

    Cheers!
