Hi,
I just tested our site on a Samsung Galaxy tab 3
The top menu has a child drop down (Second level item). We see the drop down but when it’s clicked, the link does not seem to work. Is there a workaround for this?March 28, 2014 at 7:13 am #244216Hi Edna!
Thank you for using the support forum. Do you mind posting the link to the website? We would like to check if there are any plugin conflicts. If it is ok with you, please deactivate all plugins. Some minor issues occur because of plugin conflict.
Cheers!

Yes it works fine on apple devices. But has issues with Galaxy Tab3.E.
April 1, 2014 at 4:16 pm #246110Hi!
Does it work fine on other Android devices? Which browser are you using?
I am not really sure that we can troubleshoot this issue as it is a device specific issueCheers!
YigitApril 1, 2014 at 4:40 pm #246127Tried it both with Google Chrome and the native Honeycomb web browser that comes with Galaxy Tab 3. Both had the same issue.
I can test it on an Acer Iconia Tab later tonight and let you know how that worked out as well.April 1, 2014 at 5:06 pm #246146I have the same problem with a Windows Phone 8.0. It only opens and closes the top navigation-element.
April 2, 2014 at 4:41 pm #246601Having same issue on the Acer Iconia Tab.
Would there be a workaround to this?April 2, 2014 at 6:40 pm #246666Hey!
Can you guys try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab and check if that helps?
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) { .html_mobile_menu_tablet #mobile-advanced { z-index: 999!important; }}
Cheers!
YigitApril 2, 2014 at 7:27 pm #246700Hi Yigit,
I added the code but still same results. It was added to the custom css and then also to style.css as I use a child theme. Same results in both casesApril 2, 2014 at 7:49 pm #246714Ok found a workaround to this on my Acer Iconia (ANDROIND 4.0.3): I changed the display sensitivity of the touchpad to high. Voila it worked like a charm.
However, I am unable to find a solution with Galaxy Tab3 (ANDROIND 4.1.2) so basically the drop down will not function in newer versions of Android? A bit perplexed.
April 4, 2014 at 11:59 pm #247685Hi E!
Can you try adding following code to Quick CSS as well
#header_meta { z-index: 9; }
I unfortunately do not have chance to check your website on an Android device
Cheers!
YigitApril 17, 2014 at 5:02 pm #252781Hi Yigit,
Thanks so much. I have updated the css but will only be able to test later tonight. Sorry for some reason I didn;t get a notification for your last replyApril 17, 2014 at 5:28 pm #252801Hey!
That is fine. Please update Enfold to the latest version 2.6.4 if that does not work – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
YigitApril 17, 2014 at 8:30 pm #252866Hi Yigit,
I am using a child theme and I see this:
“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! Great!”
But when I downloaded the style.css file from the main theme folder I see this:
Version: 2.6.2I resume the child theme automatic updating does not work?
Will do a manual update ASAP and let you know how the testing goes
Thanks so much

Sorry for a late reply. Got distracted over the long weekend with Easter :)
All looks good after the upgrade to Enfold 2.6.4.
I have noticed one other “issue” in the navigation drop down in various devices. Would you like if I report it to you? It is not show stopper for us… But might be good for the theme to improve.Take care of yourself,
E.April 22, 2014 at 3:35 pm #254397Hey E!
Great! Version 2.7 is now available on ThemeForest, it would be great if you update the theme once again and check if the issue you mention is still there. If it is, please report so we can look into it
Regards,
YigitApril 22, 2014 at 4:51 pm #254451ok sounds great. I have scheduled some time for the upgrade this Friday and will report any findings then.
Thanks again for all your help

YigitApril 25, 2014 at 8:14 pm #256348Hi Yigit,
Thanks so much in advance. I took 4 screenshots on 2 different devices using the default device browser.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Portrait : http://i.imgur.com/0oxXRcS.png
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Landscape :http://i.imgur.com/0oxXRcS.png
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Portrait : http://i.imgur.com/2AUaKdQ.png
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Landscape :http://i.imgur.com/vwbMnM5.pngTab 3 is a 7 inch device and Note 8 is an 8 inch device.
The top navigation on the 7 inch landscape displays as it would on a normal full screen browser. With the drop down etc. However on an 8 inch device we get the repressive navigation. IE on a larger screen we have a responsive menu and on the smaller screen we get a normal menu
As mentioned it’s not a show stopper. I just found it odd that it would behave this way. The behavior one would expect is for the smaller device to show the responsive menu and for the larger one to show the “normal” menu?Hope this helps
E.April 28, 2014 at 3:54 pm #257130Hey!
It all has to do with the current devices screen size in pixels. You can adjust when the mobile menu appears from the theme options in the Header tab. Look for it in the Mobile Menu tab and the “Header Mobile Menu activation” header.

DevinApril 28, 2014 at 4:03 pm #257142Thanks so much Devin,
I will look to see what each respective device screen resolution is and adjust the setting accordingly :)Thanks, you all rock
