    I cloned a page and made some edits…then changed the permalink of the old page to from “pagename” to “pagename2” and changed the new page to “pagename”. Then I get a “page isn’t working …redirected too many times message. Not sure what happened but can’t seen to get new page to load.

    Hey shaggym,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    I tried deactivating all active plugins and that worked. Please try de-activating them one by one to find the culprit.

    I have shut down most and still get redirected to the old URL when I try to click the /ikickbox link. I have not shut them all down yet. If I shut them down and turn them back on will all the setting still be there? I am concerned about ones like Yoast that I have spent a ton of time setting up

    Hi,

    Yes, settings doesn’t get lost when you deactivate, it will be lost once you delete it.
