Sorry, I have to come back to this; initial thread had been closed but question still is not answered.
I don’t get some of the toggles/accordions to view properly on IE 11. Content is shown partially only or empty. Please view here
https://www.naturavetal.de/canis-plus-hundenahrung/die-futterfibel/Toggles work on this page perfectly:
https://www.naturavetal.de/partner/fachhaendler-deutschland/So it must be a mistake of mine (your demo works fine on the IE as well) – but I can’t find it.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Katharina

No add-ons / plugins active (I’m only using IE for testing purposes like this one).Actually, once I switch the IE to compatibility mode everything is fine. Are you experiencing the proper view as wenn in the non-compatibility mode? Can I add some lines somewhere to force IE to use the compatibility mode?
Thanks,

Please update the theme to the latest version (2.8.1). Also, try disabling all third-party plugins.

Thanks for your suggestions.
Checking without the plugins is something I did before posting here last month. As on a different page
https://www.naturavetal.de/partner/fachhaendler-deutschland/
everything works fine under IE 11; I still assume having done something wrong while layouting the page.Would be great if you could check this again. Thanks in advance
Best regards

If I am not mistaken, IE 11 defaults to compatibility view and there is no compatibility button. Anyway, I’m not sure if this is going to work but in theory this should force the browser to render the site using the newest possible IE version. Edit header.php, find this code on line 13:
<meta charset="<?php bloginfo( 'charset' ); ?>" />
On top of it, add this:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge,chrome=1">
Again, the toggle is working on IE11.

IsmaelJuly 14, 2014 at 1:08 pm #291008Hi, in the end it turned out to come from something completely different. My fault as I always thought.
The texts were inserted into the toggles via copy/paste from an email – not via an editor like notepad ++
This resulted to the fact, that german umlauts like “ä” were read like a¨
IE in non-compatibility-mode does not read this properly, toggles did not work.Texts now are inserted fresh via notepad++ and everything is fine.
Thanks to the team for supporting!Best regards
