I’ve been using Enfold for some time now. I just got a new copy for another client to spruce up the look of their website I have put the theme on a subdomain and the main site. the tinyMCE buttons are not showing on the main site but are visible on the Archive site. they are also visible on the the original site I created using Enfold. I can’t figure out what is different and why they are not showing up.
What do I need to do or install to make them show up?
I’m using the most current version of Enfold 4.7.5 and Enfold child theme. WP is 5.4.2 I have the classic editor installed

June 28, 2020 at 12:59 am #1226155OK this is really weird I have not done anything different I just came back and all my buttons on the text editor are there. Not quite sure how but I’m not going to argue about it. I wish all my problems were solved this easy.

June 28, 2020 at 4:44 pm #1226222OK so this is now very weird. when I saw the tinyMCE interface yesterday I was copying text over from the page I created in siteOrigin page builder.
So first I checked again and the interface was the simple one. Then I opened up the siteorigin Editor, then while it was open I opened the text block in the AVIA builder and the tinyMCE interface was back in AVIA text Block.Im confused.

June 29, 2020 at 2:11 am #1226271Hi byBuko,
Can you give us temporary admin access? so we can try to check the backend, please put the information in Private Content.
But when there’s this type of inconsistency even when you are not doing anything most likely points to server issue, maybe memory is insufficient for example.Best regards,
NikkoJuly 2, 2020 at 7:05 pm #1227569sure let me set you up. thing is the theme on the subdomain on the same server, the settings are the same for both installs so I doubt that’s it. something I did notice now, is when I open the text block after refreshing the page the tinyMCE is there. after the page sits for a while and I come back its the minimal interface. Give me a little while to set you up an account.

Thanks for that. I checked the first text block on your front page, but it looks normal on my end. Please see screenshot in private. Did you try to use a different browser or an incognito/private window to see if that might help?

RikardJuly 9, 2020 at 2:20 am #1229014Yes thats the problem sometimes they are there usually at first then they go away.. and don’t come back. This is the only site it does that. the front page is the only page I’m using the AVIA builder so far since I just installed the theme. on this domain. The other domain using the theme is on the same server, mine and I’ve never seen this problem.

July 10, 2020 at 6:12 am #1229316Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m still seeing what I posted in the screenshot above, do you have a sure way of reproduce this problem? Also, did you try disabling all plugins to see that changes anything?
Best regards,
RikardJune 4, 2021 at 10:50 pm #1304152After much frustration of having the TinyMCE buttons be there when I opened the text block on a page or post then have them disappear after saving the page. Well I finally have a solution. It appears there was a conflict with Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin. I had been using the plugin before installing Enfold. after deactivation of the plugin everything was back to normal. Since this is the only site that I had both Enfold and Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin installed it took me a while to figure it out.
I hope this helps someone else who runs into the problem.
