All my 4 Enfold websites are showing the same error/warning in Firefox dev.tools Console:

This page uses the non-standard property ‘zoom’. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values or use ‘transform’ together with ‘transform-origin: 0 0’.

My other websites, build with other themes are not showing this error/warning.

I don’t know what this warning means… Is this something I (or you guys) need to fix?

    Thanks,
    Alwin

    Hey Alwin,

Could you post a link to where we can see the problem in question please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
    Thank you for the link to your site, it looks like the warning is pointing to this css from the layerslider: .clearfix{zoom:1}
I would not recommend editing any files from the layerslider, at this time it is a warning which I don’t see in Chrome or Edge so I recommend ignoring it and allowing the layerslider author to adjust in their updates.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Thank you Mike,

As far as I know I never edited any files from the layerslider at this site.

Has I said it’s also on other Enfold sites:

And… it is also on the Enfold site itself……

So seems to be a problem or bug/error in the Enfold theme!?

    Hi,
Sorry, I was not saying that you edited any files, I was saying that this seems to be from the layerslider which is a plugin and I would not recommend making changes to it for this “warning” that only shows in Firefox. A “warning” is not a “bug”.
I recommend ignoring it and allowing the layerslider author to adjust it in their future updates.

    Best regards,
    Mike

Thank you Mike, howver I am not using the layerslider plugin!

Isn’t that the build in Enfold plugin with the option to delete it completely in the Enfold settings? If yes, that’s ehat I have done on all my Enfold sites.

    Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, perhaps this is from something else, I have submitted it up to the rest of the team for further review with this thread as the reference and you can expect a reply here. Thank you for your patience.

    Hi,
The Dev Team replied that they believe it is from \grid.css line 237, but that while Zoom is not supported by Firefox, it is supported by all other browsers.
However, unlike CSS Transforms, Zoom affects the layout size of the element, so there is not a substitute that can be used instead of Zoom.
So this warning should be ignored for now until Firefox begins to support it like all other browsers.

    Best regards,
    Mike
