    Hi!

    I’ve was editing a site and when updating the page it went white with the error:
    “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

    Now I can’t access any pages I try to update. Everything else works as usual, just not the pages. The front end work as usual as well.

    I haven’t gotten any email but I talked to the web hoster support who said it was due to the theme.
    I tried removing the plugins to see if there were any complications but it didn’t work.

    What is this and how can I fix it?

    Thank you!

    Hi SumanaNataraj,

    Can you give us a temporary admin access, as well as FTP access? so we can check on the error and try to fix the issue.
    Just post the credentials in private content.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Yes, of course!

    May I have your email address so I can give you access to WordPress?

    Hi SumanaNataraj,

    Thanks for giving us access.
    I was able to login in WordPress because there was an option in your hosting provider to login to WP.
    I tried to check on the backend of the pages and it’s working pretty well on my end (screenshot in private content) there were no js scripts error except for mixed content (logo and favicon are using http while your site is https, I’ve already fixed this).
    Can you give us a screenshot on how it looks on your end? is the issue only appearing in specific pages? can you give us steps that we can follow to try to reproduce the issue on our ends?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    It started at the page “Order” when trying to update the page. After that, I can no longer access that page. I edited “Home” after that and it showed the same error but I can access the page now and I just tried updating one thing with success. What I can see now it’s only the page “Order” that gives me that error.

    And thank you for updating the logo and favicon! :)

    Thank you! I appreciate your help!

    Thank you so much!
    Just out of curiosity, what was wrong and how did you solve it?

    Again, thank you!
    Have a great day!

    Hi SumanaNataraj,

    You’re welcome :)
    It’s a bit technical to explain but basically the page was returning some invalid types for some reason, I created a test page (which I already deleted) which is just a duplicate of the Order page and it returned valid types (so only the Order page was the issue), I tweaked contact.php to check for these invalid types and convert them to a valid type.
    The change I made is in wp-content > themes> enfold > config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > contact > contact.php (I think it was line 889-891):

    if( !is_array($item['attr'])) {
        $item['attr'] = [$item['attr']];
    }

    Best regards,
    Nikko
