Good morning, I’m having an issue with my Themeforest theme. Suddenly—without having activated any new plugins, as far as I can remember—when I edit the homepage in the backend, the changes no longer appear on the frontend, which seems stuck to a version from quite some time ago. Some formatting has also changed unexpectedly. What could be causing this? I’ve cleared any browser caches.
How can I fix it? Thank you!April 11, 2025 at 4:32 am #1481165Hey jessicaventuri,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The site contains a very old version (5.6.3) of the theme. You have to download the latest version (7.0.1) from your Themeforest account, then update the theme manually via FTP. Please refer to the documentation below.

April 21, 2025 at 6:13 am #1481691Hi,
We tried editing the home page and it seems to be updating correctly. Which element are you trying to edit? Please make sure to purge the cache before checking.

IsmaelApril 21, 2025 at 9:14 am #1481707Good morning,
I’ve cleared the cache and also tried using other browsers and friends’ devices, but nothing changes. For example, , a “CIAO” appears that is not in the backend, the photo I uploaded before subscribing to the newsletter doesn’t show up, and the “go to project” button remains.
In short… it’s not possible to work on it, it seems stuck and impossible to editApril 22, 2025 at 6:58 am #1481776Hi,
We removed the Special Heading element with the “Ciao” text. We cannot find the “go to project” button on either the front end or the back end. Which photo are you referring to? Please provide a screenshot using Imgur or Dropbox. Again, we added two Text Blocks at the very end of the page and left them there for you to check.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 22, 2025 at 12:52 pm #1481828The word “ciao” still appears in the frontend even though it’s not in the backend. I also asked friends to check from their computers and phones, and it’s not just the word “ciao,” as you can see from the attachments. Anything I modify in the administration panel under the homepage doesn’t appear on the live site. I also added a phrase to show you that it stays there… no page update in the frontend. Additionally, a photo is missing, and there’s still a button that I had already deleted in the backend a long time ago. In short… it’s not working.
imgurApril 23, 2025 at 7:30 am #1481922Hi,
The Text Blocks we added are still there when we checked. We also removed the Special Heading element again — not sure why it was added back. You can check the screenshot of the page below without the Special Heading element and Two text blocks.
Try using a different browser and disable the cache plugin while editing the site.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 23, 2025 at 9:36 am #1481936Actually, the image you posted does not show the backend. There is a “Go to Project” button which doesn’t exist in the backend, and the photo at the bottom is missing. Moreover, the block I inserted was visible in the backend and has never appeared on the front-end (this is the problem) — the image you shared clearly shows the front-end.
In short: the photo you posted shows a completely different version of the site compared to what I see in the admin panel. I have cleared the cache, used different browsers, and even asked friends to check — the issue remains the same.
I’m sorry to say this, but it seems you are either not understanding the problem or perhaps explaining it poorly, because you keep showing images of how the site appears on the front-end, while the backend displays something entirely different.
If everything is working as you claim, please try to clearly add any image — a flower, a landscape — on the homepage, along with a short text like “hello!”… We are unable to do this, even though we manage many websites.
This is a serious issue that I kindly ask you to consider carefully, because it’s not on our end and it’s forcing us to rebuild the entire site from scratch using another template.
why tis imagine https://imgur.com/a/ExyJWEd that is in the backend is not visible in the frontend (as we can see also looking at the imagine you posted) ? is so for everything…
April 24, 2025 at 9:44 am #1482106Hi,
We can’t find the “Go to Project” anywhere in the page, front or backend. This is the screenshot of the editor.
We edited the page again, added a color section with background image, a heading element and another image.
Please try using a different browser or device.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 24, 2025 at 10:03 am #1482117Got it! For some reason, there are two home pages and we were working on different ones… Thanks for the support, you can close the post.
