    Hi all,

    Great theme! Thank you.

The LayerSlider just randomly stopped working so I looked around and noticed that the theme was out of date.
Adding envato API’s didn’t help fix things automatically so I followed your online instructions to update via FTP.

DONE! The layerslider works (kinda…it’s not going full width but I’ll figure that out).
Although the front end looks ok, I’m getting crazy errors on the dashboard. About half a dozen like this:

    Screener

I’ve no idea where to even start with this. HELP? I’ve added my credentials below.

EDIT: I changed nothing but the theme files. All was working ok before this.
EIDT 2: ENFOLD CHILD Theme is a mess when activated. I dunno if that helps.
EDIT 3: I also completely deleted the newly uploaded theme and re-uploaded it in case something corrupted…..same errors occurred.

More info: if I update a page, it does update but the Advanced Layout Editor just throws errors and, to get back to it, you have to reload the front-end page and go into edit again. Not good.

But I hope this helps narrowing down the issue.

Oh, and no matter what I try, I can’t get the layerslider at the top to go full-width. The column is set to 1/1 and there’s no padding. Nothing was changed aside from the theme update so maybe you could help?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

It looks like an issue with a plugin using the add_submenu_page function, which is using an invalid type in the 7th parameter. To check the issue properly and to trace the error, we have to enable the debug mode in your installation. Please check the following documentation for more info about debugging.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Sorry for the problem, and for the late reply. I’m not sure exactly what is going wrong on your site, but it doesn’t look to be theme related. Could you try disabling all plugins, to see if that changes anything please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Yep! Looks like it was THIS plugin: Mobile Call Button
    Thanks for the advice. Amazing!

WAIT!!! Not so fast :) :)

It looks ok on a desktop but on mobile’s it’s throwing an error at the top of the page on the front-end.
Even when I turn off all plugins, it still throws these errors (looks like it’s the LayerSlider)…

So sorry to spam you :/

I’ve turned Debugging Mode off and it no longer appears.
But if you guys have a fix for whatever it is, I’d prefer to fix than just hide….unless it’s of no consequence at all.

Thank you once more and, again, sorry for the multiple updates.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’m still seeing error message on the backend of your installation, would it be ok if we disabled all plugins for debugging purposes? What you are describing is not a general theme problem, so it’s very likely that something else on your site is causing those messages to appear.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Sure, go ahead. Thank you.

    Hi,

According to the stack trace, the remaining issue is from a default PHP network function called inet_pton, which is receiving an unsupported IPv6 address. Unfortunately, we are not that familiar with that function and with the current server configuration. You may need to ask your server administrator for additional info regarding this issue. You should also ask them if they could upgrade PHP from version 7.2 to the latest version.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
