Theme update without child theme

Hi guys,, thanks again by the way for this really beautiful design. I had a question that have been probably answered but needed to know exactly what you loose when you update and you don’t have a child theme.

am I loosing:

– My slideshow,
– the quick css in the advanced layer slider
– local styling options (color, font, border directly set up in the advanced layer slider on the layers themself !!)
– general styling options (colors and fond)

i did’t really open and edit any css file if it’s what you mean by customization, neither any php file, but i’ve slightly modified the custom style field that was in the layer panel.

I want to update because the mobile detection is not working that great,,, landscape when it should be in portrait and vice versa
