    Good day

    I am pretty new to WordPress after building sites with Dreamweaver, etc for the last 8 years and this theme has made it really easy for me to catchup in some form.

    I have recently taken over a site from another designer and have noticed there are some menu items missing from the site when compared to another site I have built using the Enfold theme.

    Most notably:
    1. Theme Update is not available under the Enfold Theme Options
    2. My menu options under the Blog Posts content element is also missing options

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

    Once you are on the most recent versions you can update through the theme options after putting in the ThemeForest account info.

    Thanks for the response.

    The theme was bought by another designer and he has given me his:

    Item Purchase Code
    Username
    API

    However, I have previously also bought the theme. Can I download it from my account and update the site like that?

    Yes you can. Please login on ThemeForest with the account you have purchased Enfold and go to Downloads section to download it

    Hi Yigit

    Am I able to just overwrite the existing Enfold folder with the new one or will it affect/or will I lose my content?

    Hi!

    Your content is saved on your database, so, no, content will not be overwritten. Only if you have made changes on theme files and not using a child theme, those changes will be lost
