Updated to 4.3 on several sites today and on all of them clicking the theme options button just refreshes the current page in Apple Safari on MacOS.
Switching to Firefox or Chrome works but Safari definitely does not.
Had a new machine waiting to be setup for staff member so installed it brand new and fresh and tried it on that so not a cache issue.
April 25, 2018 at 6:19 am #946405I have this same issue on my site. I have to go to the home page then click the theme options to get to it. If I’m in the admin already it stays on the same page.
April 25, 2018 at 11:25 am #946525Mine won’t even do that. Have to use Chrome.
April 27, 2018 at 4:43 am #947587Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
The update introduced a lot of features (compression, minification, modules etc) that may be incompatible with the existing plugins and configuration. Please do the following steps.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Update the PHP version being used by your hosting server to PHP 7 by getting in touch with your hosting company.
3. Access your WordPress site root folder and rename the current .htaccess file to .htaccess.bak. Login to WordPress admin area go to settings > permalinks > select “Post name” and save changes.
4. Define a higher memory limit in WordPress and if possible increasing the memory on the hosting server.
To increase the WordPress memory limit please access wp-config.php file and add the below line
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
For a detailed explanation please check this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
and you can contact your service provider to increase the memory limit. If none of the above works for you please go ahead and delete the “enfold” folder in wp-content/themes/ and upload a fresh copy of the “enfold” theme files.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 27, 2018 at 4:54 am #947599Hi Ismael, if I control click and say open in a new window it will open the theme options page. It only stays on whatever page it is on if I just click theme options or any of the theme option menus while in the wp-admin section.
April 29, 2018 at 5:12 am #948509Hi rodpascoe,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
