    I will include the login information at the bottom in private details, but the layout builder and strangely the footer widgets are broken after updating to 4.0 and updating the theme. Please have a look and help!

    Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

    Hey!

    It’s working now, i disabled the “Comprehensive Google Map Plugin” plugin which is not compatible with WP 4.0.
