Hi, I have three sites all with the site key and matching 3 purchased licences. Two of the sites update but the third one just keeps saying no updates available even through the site key (API) is valid. We just get the following message
Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.6.2)March 12, 2021 at 4:21 pm #1287754Hey Thunderbird_1,
You can install the Envato Market Plugin and try to update with it.
Here is the link for you:

We added the plugin and API key as advised onto the staging site ready to push to the live site. However, 2 things happened.
The site would not load in preview mode it just kept trying to load. As all plugins and WordPress version were up to date we contacted Siteground they informed us that it was not them but an error with the theme as if another theme was used the site loaded.
We could see the site if we went to edit a page and then preview but otherwise, we see nothing. I would add that the plugin said all was ok.
I’ve just now gone to login again to see if leaving things for an hour or so resolved anything, however, I got a message from WordPress saying the Theme was corrupted and sending me a recovery link, when I login all changes have gone and it’s showing and error against the Theme
“This theme failed to load properly and was paused within the admin backend”
I’ve tried to load the Theme again but with no success, we have a backup of the staging site, so we can recover the changes, however, the big issue is the actual site is running an old version of WordPress and Enfold as we can’t overcome the above problems on the staging site and push live to the main site.
March 28, 2021 at 2:29 pm #1290922Hi Thunderbird_1,
Well, sorry to hear about that but you should know that it’s a good practice to make a full website backup before making some major changes to it.
Can you please check the server log for errors?
Which version of php are you running?
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 29, 2021 at 10:59 am #1291059Hi Victoria
The PHP version is 7.3.27 ultrafast provided by Sitegound. Siteground has checked and they get the same error message (which is in the private area).
We do have backups and reinstalled a previous copy and we still got the same error message, we then reinstalled the theme, however the error still occurred. We are now in a situation that we are going to have to rebuild the site.
March 30, 2021 at 10:07 am #1291298Hi Thunderbird_1,
Can you try to disable CSS file merging and compression and Javascript file merging and compression in Enfold > Performance?

Thank you for your advice, fantastic, we’ve followed your instructions and it has worked!
Do you think this could be a conflict with the Siteground Optimizer plugin?
April 1, 2021 at 3:22 am #1291638Hi Thunderbird_1,
We’re glad to hear that :)
I don’t think it has a conflict but probably a cached version is fetched which causes the issue.Best regards,
Nikko -
