    Hello Team,
    My website is completely defaced. I tried uploading an image. It showed “HTTP ERROR” so I tried editing the file permissions. At first it did not allow for upload of images and gradually, the images started going blank until the website got to this present crappy state. I haven’t done an update on the theme and I think the theme is broken. I want to do a reinstall through FTP but I don’t know if it will overwrite all information on the website or it will just fit and take the existing information… Please, am desperately in need of help to fix this…

    You won’t overwrite any data by reinstalling the theme via FTP since all data is stored in the database

    Hey!

    Thank you for using our theme.

    Sorry for the problems you encounter.

    As long as you did not make any changes to theme files uploading and overwriting the folder theme/enfold with FTP only updates the theme files. Any data stored in the theme options are not changed – and the database is also not changed.

    Also try to deactivate all plugins first.
