Hello Enfold Team,
I just purchased another enfold theme for a new website but this time I somehow have problems with the installation of the theme. When I go to WordPress – themes – and try to upload the installable wordpress file only zip it does not work.
Instead it says sometimes “ The file could not be copied. enfold/confit-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/codemirror/addon/tern/worker.js” and sometimes “The uploaded file could not be transferred to wp-content/uploads/2018/07”.I also tried to install it via FTP but it does not work either because at some point it goes “the target file already exists” and stops transfering files.
I would appreciate if you could find out the solution for me or if you could just install the theme for me and tell me what the problem was.

I took a look at your site and found that your file permissions were not correct, so I changed your folders to 755 & files to 644.
Then I tried uploading the enfold theme, but the default permissions settings on the server creates folders with 705 & files with 604, so during the upload each directory is created with incorrect permissions that won’t allow a sub-directory, and this is why you are getting the error.
While I did change the file permissions on the first level sub-directories, it would be too much to do so for every sub-directory, and I believe this will cause you issues in the future.
Please ask your webhost to change the default file permissions for created folders & files, so you can upload the theme correctly.Best regards,
