    Hello!
    Each time install enfold and try live preview or activate on my wordpress site, I end up with a white screen and no dashboard to work with. My hosting company (bluehost) said that there is a problem with the code on the enfold theme. Here is the error message that they saw:

    [23-Oct-2017 17:01:35] PHP Fatal error: Declaration of avia_sc_comments_list::shortcode_handler() must be compatible with that of aviaShortcodeTemplate::shortcode_handler() in /home7/lieuranc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/comments.php on line 14

    Could you help me to install? I will add my credentials below. Thank you! – Barbara

    Would it be possible to download a fresh copy from ThemeForest and attempt to install via FTP? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

    Yes, I have done that and it has not solved the problem. Can you help on your end?

    Installed a fresh copy from ThemeForest, installed via ftp. Same issue occurs.

    Hi Barbara,

    This is the issue with the oho version. Which version of php are you running? You might want to consider updating your php.
